Our team is made up of medical professionals and estheticians. Depending on the service you are receiving, a member of our team with the proper licensing, training, and certifications, will attend to you.

You must come to your appointment clean-shaven on the area being treated. Using a razor, shave as closely as possible. If you arrive without shaving you will be asked to reschedule and return prepared. We will not shave you. Not only is being clean-shaven critical to the effectiveness of the procedure, but it also results in much less pain.

Many people see an immediate thinning of their hair after just 1-2 sessions. However, most people find  8-10 treatments to be extremely effective at total hair removal. Denser hair may require more sessions. Lighter hair may require more sessions. 4-5 weeks between sessions is best.

The goal is to kill the hair follicle. If it is only damaged, eventually it will come back. Hair grows in cycles and only the follicles actively growing are being treated, so it is necessary to retreat the area several times to ensure all follicles are destroyed.

Any negative side effects are very temporary, including mild swelling around the hair follicles, temporary pigment changes (especially in those with darker skin), slight redness of the skin, and temporary irritation resulting in blistering, crusting, scarring or other changes in skin texture. These usually disappear within an hour.

Good question! The darker the hair, the more effective the treatment will be. If your hair is blonde, grey, or white it may not be as effective. If in doubt feel free to drop by for a free consultation and we can give your our opinion of your situation.
