10/7/24 UPDATE: Effective immediately compounded tirzepatide in 10mg/mL is no longer available due to FDA guidelines!!
First we schedule a consultation to discuss your health history, current medications, and your goals. In some cases blood work may be recommended. If you are a good candidate, we will then guide you through our weight loss program. Our goal is to help you get the boost and motivation you need to see long-lasting results! For any weight loss program to work long-term, we must change our mentality and habits. We can help you do that.
Our program may include a GLP-1 component, for those that qualify. This might include supplements and/or a prescription. Please note, prescriptions usually take about a week to fill as they are issued specifically for each patient.
We want to see you every 4 weeks. To check in, understand how things are progressing, create accountability, and discuss the next steps that are best for you on your weight loss journey!
We offer a variety of options, depending on your needs. Our subscription programs not only offer deep discounts off the month-to-month price, but they also include:
You will have the opportunity to discuss and choose the best plan for you, during your initial consultation.
It's the first medication in its class and comes as a once-weekly injection. Technically, the medicine is a peptide molecule that is produced synthetically that acts on both GIP and GLP-1 receptors as a receptor agonist. It works by impacting your body’s insulin levels, blood sugar production, and hunger hormones. Managing your glucose is important because decreased glucose levels lead to lower insulin levels, leading to weight loss and decreased fat mass. It also signals to the brain that you’re full, so you eat less, since it also slows the movement of food through your stomach, so you feel full longer.
"SURMOUNT 1" clinical trial results
The medicine is unique because it’s the first combination of two classes of medications: a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist and a glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor agonist. Therefore, it is a dual GLP-1/GIP receptor agonist. Semaglutide, another popular weight-loss medication, acts only on GIP receptors. Since it acts on both GLP-1 AND GIP receptors, this is a significant breakthrough in weight loss.
GLP-1 and GIP are both incretin hormones, which are hormones that are released after eating. Among other things, they help promote a feeling of fullness by delaying gastric emptying and activating the satiety centers in the brain. They also boost insulin production in the pancreas, and suppress glucagon production, both of which help normalize blood sugars. It works by mimicking these hormone's effects. This includes telling the pancreas to release insulin after eating and signaling the liver to lower the amount of glucose it’s making. These effects help you feel full, slow down digestion, and lower blood sugar.
Originally developed to help with treating Type 2 diabetes, GLP-1 medications have been shown to help with weight loss in people without diabetes. A clinical trial of over 2,500 people with obesity or overweight experienced significant weight loss with a weekly dose. Those treated had an average weight loss of 15% to 20% of their starting body weight over 72 weeks (about 16 and a half months). Those taking the placebo (an injection with no medication in it) only had an average of 3% weight loss.
It is important to note that this medicine, while amazingly effective in most people, is not a magical cure-all! It is just one component of our program, and works best in conjunction with all of the other elements to helping you achieve your desired result.
Like most weight-loss programs, for the best long-lasting results you should pair this medicine with a healthy diet and exercise. Frankly, most diets are demoralizing. It's frustrating to try so hard and not see your weight drop. And usually you're doing this while feeling hungry and strong cravings. That's what makes this medicine so ground-breaking! The medicine makes it easy to not over-eat or binge eat, and can help curb the cravings you usually have. The medicine overcomes the hardest parts of a traditional diet.
Losing weight is the easy part on this medication. The way to maximize this program for the long-term is to use the weight loss as a motivator to change your habits. Eat better. Exercise. Create new, healthy habits and break old, destructive ones. Then, once you reach your goal weight and you stop taking the medication, you will be positioned to maintain your new weight! We will discuss all of this with you as you progress through our consultative program. Remember, this is only one element of a successful weight-loss plan!
While you are on the program you will often feel full and no desire to eat. It's amazing, but it's very important that you do continue to eat. The hunger suppression will make eating smaller portions easy. Eat healthy food, with an emphasis on protein, and drink plenty of water. Make sure that the limited food you are giving your body is the good stuff it needs. This way you will still feel energy and your body will not horde fat, but will burn it first due to the calorie deficit you (and the medicine) have created.
Absolutely! This is an amazing breakthrough and the studies behind it are well-documented.

Yes. Long-term studies have been conducted on the extended use of the medication (and the entire class of GLP-1 agonists) with very positive results.
GLP-1 side effects may include: Nausea, diarrhea, constipation, and vomiting.
Additional study is ongoing and looking closely for other unanticipated adverse effects. As of yet, there is no long term safety data on this drug.
Given the theoretical risk, GLP-1 medications should be avoided in those with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma. Patients with a history of MEN 2 (multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type-2) should also avoid them. Contraindications for GLP-1's are thyroid cancer, acute kidney injury, pancreatitis, retinopathy, and severe GI disease.
GLP-1s are a type of medication called glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists that are regularly prescribed to patients interested in weight loss. GLP-1s have been FDA-approved and deemed safe and effective for managing a number of conditions, including weight management and type 2 diabetes, when taken as directed. GLP-1 medications come in pre-filled injector pens and are self-administered through subcutaneous injection. GLP-1s help with weight management in two ways:
Our mission is to help people live their best lives. We want people to look and feel their very best. It is estimated that 40% of adult Americans are obese, with a body mass index (BMI) of more than 30. Studies (and our experience in our own spa) have shown these medications can help people lose as much as 20% of their body weight. If we can be a part of helping our patients achieve and maintain a healthy weight, we are excited to provide that service. It can be life-changing! This is why we developed this program and incorporate the aid of medicine as one component of the system we teach.
Like all weight loss programs, results vary for every individual and cannot be guaranteed. Many factors contribute to the results a patient experiences. Some are outside of the patients' control, such as genetics, health history and more. Other variables are within the patients' control, such as exercise, what you eat, and using this treatment as a springboard to improving healthy habits. Every patient is different, but while we cannot guarantee results, we will do our part to teach you about how to use this treatment to set you up for success.
Studies show that many people do regain some of the weight they have lost, when they discontinue the medicine. However, many people also are able to maintain their new weight. Some people also choose to cycle on and off of the medication, as they work to train their body and develop healthier eating habits. In our experience, the biggest difference between those that maintain their new weight and those that gain some or all of it back is whether or not they used their time on the medication (when motivation and discipline wasn't an issue) to change their habits with diet and exercise, and changed their relationship with food in general (eating healthier, smaller portions, etc). Individual results always vary, but it really is up to you!
