HOW DOES IT WORK?
Patients lie on a treatment bed and our provider will place the applicator head on the treatment area. During a 10-15 minute treatment, a focused low-intensity extracorporeal shock wave therapy (LIESWT) is administered using a corded wand that is connected to the machine. Completely painless, the Alma Duo uses focused low intensity shock wave pulses to trigger an inflammatory response in the treatment area that targets vascular function (a restoration of blood flow).
